The Pau Horse Trials soars higher year after year
The association CEPP and Centaure Production society will be the envy of many horse event organizers because “Les Etoiles de Pau” welcomes, from the 4th to the 7th of November 2010, the last round of HSBC FEI Classics™ AND the World Cup Eventing Final. Pau becomes the number one rendezvous for this equestrian sporting event held during one autumn weekend. The International Equestrian Federation and their partners HSBC join together for the finals of the two most important Eventing series in the world.1/ The HSBC FEI Classics™ last round : The newly established HSBC FEI Classics™ is a series uniting the top end of the international Eventing circuit, namely the five 4-Star Eventing competitions. The Top Ten placed riders at each event receive points; the riders with the highest number of points at the end of the season are awarded prize money.

2/ The World Cup Eventing Final : The HSBC FEI World Cup™ Eventing is the showcase of the Eventing sport for the future and is aimed to promote the emblematic values of Eventing to the public at large as well as sponsors through constant review of sport, with the participation of the world’s best riders and horse in a series of qualifiers culminating in a final. This series has been created to present the sport at its best advantage to the general public and stands as a concept with its own special rules and regulations, annually reviewed by the Eventing Committee.

This impressive double event will place all the world’s best Eventing riders together and gives organizers the opportunity to prove once again their skills. “Les Etoiles de Pau” Horse Trials have already run a European Championship in 2001 then two World Cup Finals, in 2003 and 2004 and one World Cup Qualifier in 2005. “Les Etoiles de Pau” has also joined the prestigious 4-star Three-day event in 2007.
Be ready for this appointment in Pau, at the “Domaine de Sers”, from 4 to 7 of November 2010, to celebrate the exciting end to the years Eventing season.
